A week after the interview of Prince Harry and his wife, in which they accused the royal family of racism, the brothers spoke for the first time • "The conversation was not helpful," an acquaintance told Merkel

About a week after the broadcast of the media interview of Prince Harry and his wife Megan Merkel, Harry and his older brother Prince William had their first conversation today (Tuesday), the British "The Mirror" newspaper reported.

The content of the conversation was the couple's claims about the racism in the royal family in the context of the skin color of their eldest son Archie during Megan's pregnancy, and the other issues that came up during the interview with American TV presenter Oprah Winfrey.

At the same time, a close friend of Megan said in an interview with British television that Megan shared it during the conversations between the brothers and also, in a conversation between Harry and his father Prince Charles and claimed that "they were not productive but were only happy with their very existence".

The reason for the crisis between the couple and the royal family is an interview given by the two to CBS and Oprah Winfrey.

During the two-hour interview, the two attacked the treatment they received at the royal palace and Harry's family, accusing them of silence in the face of the racism directed, they say, at Merkel in the British press due to her African-American origins.

Rachel was the first to speak to the presenter, making it clear that the interview was not conducted for a fee.

She then began to tell her story, claiming that relations with the media in the UK began to deteriorate after an article was published claiming that she had caused her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate Middleton, to cry and denied it.

"She was the one who made me cry," Merkel claimed, adding, "I hoped Kate would want the truth to be presented but instead I was silenced. Not only were they not defending me, the monarchy was willing to lie to protect others."

"They did not want Archie to be a prince because they were afraid he would be dark-skinned"

Merkel went on to attack the royal institution, accusing the palace people of not wanting her son to build with Harry, Archie, be crowned prince or receive security.

"There were fears that his skin would be dark," she explained, but did not dismiss who raised the concerns.

"I lost the desire to live because of the situation, I begged for help and said I was worried about my mental health, but no one helped," she continued, claiming she had suicidal thoughts at the time in the palace.

Prince Harry did not spare things from the royal family either, nor from his father - Prince Charles.

Harry likened the situation to the complicated relationship between his father and mother Princess Diana who was killed in a car accident, saying: "My fear is that history will repeat itself, but in a more dangerous way, as racism is also involved here.

"We asked for help, but we did not get it," the prince continued, "we left because there was no understanding or support in the royal house."

During the interview, the prince described the complicated relationship with his father.

"He stopped answering calls from me at some point, although today we talk," he said, adding, "I was disappointed in him."

"Megan saved me, I was trapped without knowing it"

Harry even said that Merkel saved him by keeping him away from the royal family.

"I was trapped without knowing it, I would not have gotten away without her," he said, "I was trapped like my father and brother, Megan saved me," the prince concluded.

Earlier it was reported that Queen Elizabeth II would not watch the interview.

It was precisely towards her that both Megan and Harry expressed their appreciation, and the prince even said, "I have never acted behind her back, I respect her," and Merkel added, "The queen made me feel welcome."
