The farmer Abdul Salam Hamzah, who lost 54 heads of cows due to terrorism, was able after returning to buy 3 cows in installments, as he explained to SANA, wishing to grant agricultural loans to farmers instead of subsidies so that they could establish small and micro agricultural projects to revive their conditions.

As farmer Khaled Burhan Salam continues to reclaim and cultivate his land, which has been burned by terrorism in its entirety, he shows that the land is the basis of the peasants ’existence and their livelihood, which calls for providing agricultural supplies for them because its shortage negatively affects the quantity and quality of crops.

Bashir Kelsani Abu Ammar, in turn, mentioned that he used to own 250 heads of sheep and goats before the terrorists entered, and after the liberation of the town, he was able to buy four goats, and the number increased gradually over the past three years until it reached 30 goats.

The head of the Agricultural Association in Ain Tarma, Mohamed Khair Khaled, pointed out the necessity of securing all the farmers ’supplies, including feed, fertilizers, diesel and electricity, in order to be able to increase production, indicating that the association tries to provide feed and fertilizers to farmers according to the possibilities.

The Association President indicated that the continuous work of farmers after the liberation of Ain Tarma resulted in an increase in the heads of cows to 350 heads of dairy cows and 1500 heads of sheep and more than 700 heads of Shami goats and the cultivation of the entire agricultural area in Ein Tarma, which amounts to more than 800 dunums, indicating that the areas planted with wheat in the village Little because most areas float in Barada River, which needs treatment.
