Glass, broken glass, a broken wing mirror of a car, protective film and a lot of rubbish landed on the trailer.
The garbage was then properly disposed of by the fishermen's friends at the recycling center.
The youth were not allowed to help because of Corona
"It's a shame.
We would have liked to have done the action with the fisher youth.
But unfortunately that was not possible because of the contact restrictions, ”regrets club boss Gaisbauer.
Especially since the whole of 2020 was quite "catastrophic" for the young fishermen.
"Because of Corona, we couldn't make any offers to the youth." If at all, the children and young people went fishing with their fathers.
Nevertheless, the youth remained loyal to the club.
However, burglaries have been recorded in the senior sector: According to Gaisbauer, significantly fewer annual tickets were issued than usual.
To make matters worse, the Fisherman's Festival 2020 on the Assumption of Mary (August 15) could not take place due to the pandemic: "It would have been a dream day", Gaisbauer regrets the failure of the traditional event.
The association has lost important sources of income
The association lost two important sources of income.
Thanks to the reserves available, the fishermen's friends do not find themselves in need, but they still have to shoulder the expenses.
