In January, Guillermo Coppola was infected with coronavirus and recognized that his big mistake had been to participate in different events in which the New Year was celebrated, in Mar del Plata.

Although a couple of weeks later he managed to overcome the disease and was discharged, this Sunday he had to be admitted to the Finochietto Sanatorium as a result of respiratory complications.

"I am doing controls for respiratory issues, but everything is very light," Guillermo explained in statements to

America

. And he added, optimistically: "It is a quiet control, thank God.

I had coronavirus in January and recovered favorably.

Ten or fifteen days ago my breathing became a bit complicated and here we are, recalculating ".

However, the aftermath of COVID-19 in his body became stronger than expected, and it was the journalist Mauro Viale, a friend of the businessman, who reported on his A24 program that Coppola had to be transferred to intensive care.

"He is on oxygen, he went to intensive care. What does he have, does Covid have or what?" Asked Mauro, who chatted with Guillermo on Sunday.

"When we spoke he was smiling, with good breathing," Viale commented in surprise.
