Germering - Despite the unfriendly weather, many market visitors came to the stand.
Above all, they asked questions about the size of the construction project, the expected number of new residents and traffic.
Most were appalled about the 7800 additional car journeys that a traffic report predicts.
The question of affordable housing was also often asked.
The size of the construction project and the dense development was illustrated by a scale model made of Lego bricks. It was created by Rudolf Kauper, civil engineer and one of the main players in the citizens' initiative. Further dates for information stands will be published on www.lebenswertes-germering.de. Today, Tuesday, the Kreuzlinger Feld development plan is on the city council's agenda (6 p.m., city hall). But it is only about changes due to the new clearance area regulation.
