Acting State Attorney, Adv. Amit Isman, decided that the police will carry out further investigations into the sexual offenses case at the hotel where Yarin Sharaf was accused of consensual prohibited possession.

As a reminder, following the storm that arose after the indictment was filed against Sharaf Begin for prohibited consent, sexual harassment, threats, assault and the supply of intoxicating liquor to a minor, Adv. Isman convened an urgent hearing at the beginning of the week regarding the affair.

The hearing was attended by senior officials from the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office, who claimed that the investigation materials indicated that it was not rape. Following this, it was learned that Adv. Isman approved the completion of the investigation, including the girl's questioning before making his final decision.

Meanwhile, the hearing that was supposed to take place today (Tuesday) on the request to extend Sharaf's detention until the end of the proceedings was postponed at the request of his defense attorney, Adv. Nir David, to Thursday at noon. .

Regarding the decision of the State Attorney to examine the case, Adv. David said: "In my opinion, this is an easy case from an evidentiary point of view. I do not understand why the State Attorney should be required for a case in which the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office made a decision based on evidence.

I am convinced that at the end of the day he too knows this, so the indictment will not be changed.

It is clear that any change in the indictment will constitute a real earthquake and a precedent-setting act that has never been done before. "
