Syrian state television reported last night (Wednesday) on an Israeli attack in southern Damascus.
Air defense systems were reportedly activated against several "hostile objects" south of the Syrian capital.
Syrian state news agency Sanaa quoted military officials as saying that air defense systems had dropped some of the missiles fired at Syrian territory.
Local residents reported that echoes of explosions were heard in the capital.
