The first testimony against Yehuda Meshi Zahav will be collected tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Lahav 433. offices.
As you may recall, the police decided to open an investigation against ZAKA chairman Yehuda Meshi Zahav on suspicion of committing sexual offenses.
This was reported by the police on Tuesday.
The investigation was assigned to the National Fraud Investigation Unit (JHA).
The affair exploded last week with the publication in the Haaretz investigation, according to which the chairman of the ZAKA allegedly committed sexual offenses, including among minors, in several cases.
In recent days, several testimonies have been published regarding alleged incidents.
This past weekend, Golden Silk announced that it was giving up the Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement, which it was decided to award only recently.
He also announced that he was suspending his position in the ZKA.
Haaretz's investigation, published by Aharon Rabinowitz and Shira Alec, provided the testimony of six of its alleged victims of Golden Silk, but it was alleged that he actually committed a much larger number of sexual assaults.
It was further alleged that Golden Silk took advantage of the willingness of many ultra-Orthodox youths to volunteer for the ZAK in order to sexually exploit them.
