As of today, the restriction of destinations for flights to and from Israel, which has plagued thousands of Israelis in recent weeks, has been removed.

The decision means that direct flights will be operated to almost every destination in the world, in accordance with the quota of 3,000 incoming passengers currently allowed.

The consequences of the decision are already being felt at Ben Gurion Airport, when large airlines announced their return to the airport yesterday, including Turkish Airlines, Etihad Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Arkia has announced that from next week it will operate flights to destinations received by Israeli tourists, including Dubai, Batumi in Georgia, the Seychelles, Kiev in Ukraine and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

Additional airlines are expected to announce the return of activity on the routes to Ben Gurion Airport in the coming days, and Ben-Gurion Airport is expected to return to significant activity in the near future.

Those who have been vaccinated in two doses and have waited a week for the second dose or those who have recovered, can fly abroad without the need for an exception committee approval.

Everyone who returns to Israel must perform a corona examination at his own expense, 72 hours before returning to Israel, and another examination immediately after landing in Israel.

Entry conditions for each country

It should be noted that the decision to remove the restrictions is also important in the case of a country that does not accept tourists from Israel, for several reasons: First, there are many Israelis with a foreign passport who also catches in such a country.

Second, the possibility of issuing rescue flights if necessary.

And third, connection flights will also be allowed to pass through a country that does not yet receive Israeli tourists.

It is important to remember that the list of countries that receive Israeli tourists does number a few dozen, but each has different conditions, some of which require a vaccination certificate, others require testing and some of them also require isolation for different periods.

Nir Mazor, VP of Aviation Relations, testifies to "heavy loads on the hotlines.

The prices at the moment are quite reasonable and it seems that in the near future we will see more destinations that will be opened to Israelis. "

The ones who can be gambled on for being above average following the opening of the sky are the travel bloggers who make a living from this pleasure.

One of them is Liri Horesh-Rinman, the travel blogger Traveliri, who photographs the world and covers hotels, restaurants and attractions for her followers.

"The difficulty of flying in the last year has hurt not only my mood, but also my livelihood. Opening the sky excites me greatly," she recalls.

"I am a graduate student and always use the semester vacation to fly abroad, to take advantage of the vacation, and this year this was not possible due to the closure of Ben Gurion Airport.

As soon as I heard the sky was opening I booked a plane ticket to the Dominican Republic via New York, where I would mourn in the near future.

The feeling of traveling as a vaccine is amazing. "

Similar things are said by Maya Gur and Leon Kravitz, photographers and tourism bloggers, who did not really suffer in Corona.

"We were able to fly here and there during that time," they admit, "we were in the Seychelles and Greece, but that's not really what we're used to."
