A former northern executive of the French Judo Federation targeted by suspicion of sexual violence was indicted at the end of February for aggravated “rape” on a minor under 15, said the Lille prosecutor's office on Tuesday.
The Lille prosecutor's office opened a preliminary investigation at the end of November, following reports issued by the president and the national technical director of the French Judo Federation, reporting "acts of sexual assault likely to have been committed by an elderly coach of around sixty years, having also carried out functions within the federal authorities, against three victims ”.
This former federal framework, from 2012 and 2016, was suspended in November by the Federation.
From a source close to the file, it is the former president of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais League.
