Police arrested a 12-year-old Jewish boy in Tel Aviv last night (Wednesday) on suspicion of sexually assaulting several women on the city streets.
The suspect was interrogated and in accordance with the needs of the investigation and its findings, a juvenile court extended his detention.
In most cases, the child waited and watched.
On one occasion, the suspect assaulted a 12-year-old girl who was walking with her younger brother, he wounded her and sexually assaulted her.
These are five different cases of a similar nature.
In recent weeks, police investigators from the Jaffa station have conducted an undercover investigation into a suspected sexual assault of several women by an anonymous person.
The investigation was opened with the receipt of a number of complaints with similar characteristics, from which it emerged that sexual assaults, indecent acts of violence and suspected attempted rape committed by the suspect on several women, while marching in various places in Tel Aviv, were suspected.
