Daraa-Sana

The director of Daraa Shoes Factory, Eng. Imad Al-Rifai, said that a new outlet was opened to sell medical shoes made of natural leather in the building of the Land Transport Workers Union in Daraa city at competitive prices for the market, and that it was less than 10,000 Syrian pounds per shoe.

Al-Rifai stated in a statement to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the port provides a variety of shoes for men, women and children produced by the factory in addition to the products of shoe factories in the governorates of Hama and Sweida.

He said that the purpose of its opening in the city center is to reduce the burden of transportation for citizens and to facilitate the workers of government departments and institutions to obtain the product according to the contracts signed with the factory administration, indicating that the factory cooperates with the private sector to overcome production difficulties and ensure the continuity of production as we provide some raw materials to complete the shoe industry as a result of the absence Some machines in the lab.

Al-Rifai pointed out that the Daraa shoes factory returned to work in last March at a temporary headquarters within the building of the macaroni company in the city after a break of about 7 years as a result of the destruction of the factory and the looting of its entire machinery by terrorist groups.
