A fifty-year-old, former banking executive and who was manager of a Meilleurstaux.com agency in Angers, was indicted for having defrauded twenty people in fraudulent loans for damage of around 500,000 euros, we learned Tuesday March 16 from corroborating sources.

This man, who opened his Meilleurtaux.com sign in Angers, took advantage of his knowledge of the banking world and tried to outsmart all securities, from 2018 to September 2020,
" said this police source.

He used the documents of his clients to obtain loans for him, by inserting a RIB for the payment of the loan amount which was not the client's RIB but his own, and obtained the loans from the banking organization
", this source added.
This real estate financing broker and operator of a Meilleurtaux.com franchise would thus have obtained 31 consumer loans, out of 505 attempts, for a loss of around 500,000 euros.

With the loan he obtained he was repaying a loan that he already had outstanding.
The victims are above all the banks from which he contracted loans,
”said this police source.

The indictment relates to breach of trust, scams and attempted fraud and forgery and use of forgery
", told AFP the prosecutor of the Republic of Angers Éric Bouillard.
The respondent was placed under judicial control while the prosecution had requested his placement in pre-trial detention, according to the same source.
