Jeanine Anez, who ruled Bolivia from November 2019 to November 2020, was arrested this weekend and taken into custody on Monday for
"sedition and terrorism".
“I assumed power in the face of chain resignations.
A coup?

These are the only words that the former leader was able to address to the press on Saturday, looking haggard, before entering the premises of the central police station in La Paz.
The arrests of ministers and those of former high ranking officers were linked Friday afternoon.

"sedition", "terrorism"
and
"conspiracy"
for having instigated a
"coup"
against Evo Morales in November 2019, by forcing the departure of this democratically elected president.
