This Wednesday evening was held, virtually, the second edition of the Pégases which award prizes for the best French video games.


It is a sector that did not experience the crisis in 2020. On the contrary, by benefiting from a containment effect, the video games sector saw its turnover grow by 11.3% last year.

So, after a first edition at the Théâtre de la Madeleine in front of more than 500 people, the French branch renewed, for the second year, its Pegasus.

Microsoft Flight Simulator big winner

The most prestigious prize, that of the best French game of the year, saw the competition between the flight simulator "Flight Simulator", the car racing game "WRC 9" and the narrative game "Tell me why".

It is finally Microsoft Flight Simulator, created in Bordeaux, which wins this great Pegasus.

It also won the prize for best operating service, but also the Pegasus for visual experience.

The Pegasus of the best sound universe 2021 returns to Streets of Rage 4. An action and adventure game where the characters clash violently.

"Tell me why" wins the award for narrative excellence.

Ordesa is named the best mobile video game.

This interactive experience for download on smartphone or tablet allows the viewer to travel through history, triggering additional events and scenes.

Some 1,500 members of the Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques, created in 2019, had to give their opinion on video games produced in France and released in 2020. Three categories also reward foreign titles.

In 2020, the prize for the best game went to

A Plague Tale: Innocence

, a tale on the plague developed by the Bordeaux studio Asobo.

This one thus achieved the double with the victory “Flight Simulator” which it presented.
