Guillermo Coppola

(73) was diagnosed with coronavirus in January, after having attended several social events in Mar del Plata.

Although he managed to go through the disease without complications and was discharged, this Sunday he had to be admitted for a

respiratory condition

at the Finochietto Sanatorium.

Hours later, his situation led to a more serious condition and he had to be transferred to intensive care with a respirator.

"He is on oxygen, he went to intensive care

. What does he have, does he have covid or what?" Mauro Viale announced on his program on Sunday.

"When we spoke he was smiling, with good breathing," Viale said, surprised and concerned.

Now, from intensive care, Coppola sent an audio to Mariana Brey, a panelist from

Los Angeles de la Mañana

(El Trece, Monday through Friday at 11

a.m.

), in which she recounted the details of her health.

“I'm in respiratory therapy, with a mustache for now.

Let's hope it stays there.

Then everything else fine, everything else perfect, just

the complicated lungs

, but good.

You have to pay a lot of attention and take good care of yourself, ”explained Diego Maradona's ex-manager.

At the beginning of the year, the condition began with mild symptoms such as fever and dry cough, which led to a swab.

"My symptom was 37.8 for a while, what I do not have is courage, I feel as if they had hit me, a pain in my waist and a little headache," he

commented at that time while he was isolated and worried with the fear of having infected a family member.

As soon as they gave him the positive result, Coppola assumed: "

The responsibility is purely and exclusively mine

. I let myself be carried away and the consequences are these. When it happens to you, you realize that you did something stupid. It is my responsibility, and the risk is mine. me".

After suffering from coronavirus,

the businessman was fully recovered on

MasterChef Celebrity

(Telefe, Monday to Friday at 10:30 p.m.), where he shared a fun moment with Alexander Caniggia.

But now everything got complicated again.
