The Jordanian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 56 deaths and 9,535 new cases of Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
Petra news agency quoted ministry sources as saying that the total deaths in the country rose to 5553, while the number of injuries reached 504,915.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs, Sakhr Dudin, confirmed that the epidemiological situation in the country is very worrying and that the government can no longer do more than it has done.
Dudin said, "The government appreciates the economic situation of citizens, and we cannot impose a comprehensive curfew because it is no longer acceptable and we cannot reactivate the procedures for the month of March 2020, calling for the need for solidarity and not to deal with the situation easily because the situation is alarming and at stake."
