The potential candidates of the Republican right are capping around 15% in the polls, Xavier Bertrand being for the moment the only one to do well. As long as the LR refuse to present a team united around a credible personality, it is therefore likely that no right-wing leader will have the slightest chance of reaching the second round.
To believe some rumors which I strongly hope are false, some LR leaders would even be ready, supreme cowardice, to make an agreement with Emmanuel Macron on the condition that he appoints one of theirs (Baroin?) To Matignon.
Worse still if possible, on the three fundamental areas which we already know will be at the heart of the heart of the next campaign - ecology, the social question put forward by the movement of "yellow vests" and the design of the republican idea (therefore, of security and national identity), the LRs do not tell us anything original or salient, nothing that can so little animate
