2021 marks the 220th anniversary of the invention of the Tourbillon by Abraham-Louis Breguet.
Why, in your opinion, this fascination with the tourbillon, and this contemporary return to grace?

The 1980s marked the rebirth of mechanical watchmaking through horological complications.
And who says complication, obviously says Tourbillon.
This mechanism is the pinnacle of watchmaking tradition, know-how and art.
It exerts a power of fascination that crosses the centuries, because beyond its technical aspect, this mythical invention is also a strong artistic work, which testifies to the intellectual renewal of Europe.
The Tourbillon is, in many respects, a symbol, first and foremost that of the scope of Breguet's watchmaking - in particular through its links with astronomy and the human sciences - and of its prestige.
