Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the policy of maximum pressure exerted on the Iranian people has failed as we have achieved great successes on the diplomatic and foreign policy front in recent years.
Rouhani said during a cabinet session today that “conditions are ripe for ending the embargo on Iran more than ever before,” indicating that the new US administration recognized that the previous administration’s policy was wrong and that the policy of maximum pressure had failed as they declared their intention to return to the nuclear deal, but Tehran Waiting for actions, not words.
Rouhani pointed out that the past year was a difficult year for the Iranian people during the economic war and the repercussions of the spread of the Corona virus, expressing his hope that the new year will be better than the previous one.
