The UAE made it clear today (Wednesday) that it will not intervene in the Israeli election campaign, against the background of the cancellation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit and reports of an attempt to arrive in the coming days. Adviser to the President of the Emirates, Anwar Garagash, emphasized that the agreements are intended only to strengthen the ties between the countries, and will remain in this framework also in the future.
"The goal of the Abrahamic Agreements was to build a strategic relationship of peace and prosperity with Israel," Gergash said. "The United Arab Emirates will not take part in the Israeli election campaign. Not now and never."
