About 2,000 people participated tonight (Thursday) in a demonstration to eradicate crime and violence from Arab society, which was held in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv.
The protest was attended by Arab and Jewish demonstrators as well as politicians and senior members of the Arab society.
Joint list chairman Ayman Odeh spoke at the event and said that “we will defeat crime and violence, and remove the criminal organizations from our lives.

Watfa Jabali, one of the founding mothers who lost her son Saad, explained that "we just want there to be no more mothers joining the bereavement."
Mona Khalil, who lost her son Khalil, added that "we have already lost what is most precious to us. We will reach everywhere in the country to prevent the next victim."
