The Quneitra Governorate has completed the maintenance and restoration work of the governorate building damaged by terrorism, at a cost of about 283 liras.
The deputy head of the executive office in the governorate, Hussein Ishaq, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that the maintenance work in the first phase included the restoration of the damaged parts of the three-storey building with an area of 1,200 square meters, while the second phase includes equipping the offices with office furniture and furnishings and putting them into service during the coming period.
In turn, Engineer Abdel Nasser Yunus, the supervisor of the rehabilitation works, indicated that the building has been completely restored from the outside and inside, the extension of electricity, telephone, drinking water and sewage networks, the installation of windows and doors and the painting of offices.
The Quneitra governorate building was vandalized as a result of terrorist attacks, which caused it to be out of service and relocate offices to other directorates in the service neighborhood in Al-Baath city.
