Prime Minister Jean Castex announced a new four-week confinement from Friday evening (midnight) for sixteen departments, including Paris and its region, in the face of the progression of the Covid-19 epidemic.
In addition to Île-de-France, the following are concerned: Hauts-de-France, and the departments of Alpes-Maritimes, Seine-Maritime and Eure.
The national curfew is also postponed to 7:00 p.m.

In these 16 departments, non-essential shops and departments will have to remain closed from Saturday.
The outings, not limited in time, must be done within a radius of 10 km around the home with certificate.
The government also insists on the need to telework at least 4 days a week.
These measures are taken for "at least 4 weeks", could be extended "to other parts of the territory", specified the Prime Minister.
"We are adopting a third way, a way which should allow braking without locking up", insisted Jean Castex.
