The European Medicines Agency (EMA) delivered its verdict on the AstraZeneca vaccine against Covid-19 this Thursday afternoon, suspended by several EU countries.
She felt that the benefits of this vaccine were greater than its risks.
On the same day, the French government is due to announce new restrictions in an attempt to curb the third wave, which particularly hits Paris and its region.

About fifteen countries, including Germany, France and Italy, had suspended the use of this vaccine as a precaution, after reporting possible side effects, such as bleeding disorders and blood clots.
EMA director Emer Cook, however, had previously indicated that she remained "
firmly convinced
" that the benefits outweighed the risks.
