Western countries, led by the United States and its regional allies, were not satisfied with the support, financing, and armament they provided to terrorism that targeted Syria, but they also worked to transfer and send hundreds of thousands of terrorists to it to join terrorist organizations in it and participate in killing Syrians and destroying their capabilities.

The German Ferrell Center published in this context a study in 2015 that revealed the size of the role that Western and regional countries played in targeting Syria by sending hundreds of thousands of terrorists to it, as it revealed that the number of these terrorists since April 2011 until the end of 2015 reached 360 thousand terrorists.

The study confirmed that these terrorists flocked from about 93 countries around the world. The number of arrivals from the United States and the European Union was only 21,500, of whom 8,500 returned to their countries.

By the end of 2015, 95 thousand foreign terrorists were killed fighting alongside terrorist organizations in Syria, according to the study, which showed that Turkey ranks first in the number of terrorists coming to the Syrian territories with about 25,800, followed by Saudi Arabia with nearly 24,500, and then Chechnya with about 21 thousand.

And according to the confessions of Western officials themselves, the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has turned Turkey into a headquarters for collecting these terrorists and a corridor for their passage to Syria, and in this context came the speech of the former special envoy of the US President to the so-called “international coalition” to fight the terrorist organization, Brett McGurk, who confirmed In it, Turkey formed a passage for foreign terrorists to cross into Syria.

McGurk said, “Idlib has turned into the largest stronghold of al-Qaeda, and we consider the position of some of our allies who turn a blind eye to sending weapons and foreign fighters to the region wrong. Al-Qaeda has benefited from this and that region has turned into a stronghold for the organization and we will discuss this issue with the Turks,” ignoring at the same time the systematic support And the political cover that Washington provided for terrorist organizations in Syria, by various names.

For its part, the European Center for Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Studies stated in a report published in 2018 that the Erdogan regime had established centers to facilitate the passage of terrorists to Syria, while the German magazine (Der Spiegel) conducted an investigative search on April 4, 2019, during which it found official documents proving that Turkey It was the ideal transit country for those joining terrorist organizations.

In February 2019, the German German website Deutsche Welle presented documents proving that Turkey was and still is a country of passage for "ISIS" and "Al Qaeda" terrorists, and that branches of "ISIS" were located in the city of Gaziantep on the Syrian border, while evidence in the form of telephone records was found confirming Some ISIS fighters had contacts with Turkish criminal investigation personnel, as these members could easily enter and leave Turkey.

It can be referred to many intelligence and media reports that exposed the role of Western countries and the Erdogan regime in this scheme, which targeted Syria to turn later on those in charge of it with the return of these terrorists to their countries and their operations that aroused terror and panic among Western governments and societies, which confirms that magic, no matter how long it lasts, is not He must turn against the magician.
