The Frente de Todos is now pressing the City Bar Association to change its representative in the Prosecution Court of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF), where they seek to initiate
a jury to displace Casal for poor performance
.
In August, the Senate had already altered the composition of that body by removing its two members - elected during the Cambiemos government - and appointing new ones.
From the bicameral Public Prosecutor's Office of Congress, and at the request of the Kirchnerist deputies Rodolfo Tailhade and Vanesa Siley, the legislators sent a letter to the Buenos Aires Bar Association on Thursday requesting that
Adriana Donato be
removed
from that court due to "incompatibility" with her position in the Buenos Aires Prosecutor's Office and designate a replacement.
Between crosses, Together for Change opposed and warned that it is not the function of the Bicameral to
ask the association to change its representative.
"We do not have the power to remove it, but we do have the power to ask the Bar Association to review the appointment," Kirchner insisted.
Donato, in addition to being the representative of the Buenos Aires Bar Association,

Technically speaking, the ruling party assures that her appointment is "irregular and illegitimate" because she works as a secretary for advisers to the Attorney General of the City of Juan Bautista Mahiques.

Politically, they accuse her of maintaining ties with macrismo.
