Monday - Grandval, the whisper of the Atlantic
The young French brand Grandval, created by Thomas Fontaine, has just launched its first watch model via a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
A diving watch called the Atlantic.
In all honesty, and this is deserving enough to underline it, even if it could speak of Made in France, the brand prefers to say that its watches are
“designed and assembled in France”
, with the Atelier Parisien d'Horlogerie as a partner. , located in the 9th arrondissement, and its team of watchmakers to check all the components upon receipt.
In fact, machining and components are carried out mainly in Switzerland and Asia.

Here, the sector dial, associated with the saucer-type case 44 mm in diameter, gives this Atlantique a very seventies look.
The bezel engraved with PVD-treated white indexes (blue or black) has a circular brushed finish.
Finally, the date disc is personalized to be the same color as the dial.
