National Council for Scientific and Technical Research
(CONICET), a participating institution in the construction of the site, the Commune confirmed that the district will have its own physical space to analyze, optimize and facilitate safe access to the therapeutic resource to society.

very positive expectations
with this agreement that we signed together with CONICET. We intend to
consolidate in Tigre a medical cannabis analysis center

to end the stigmatization

Parbst was one of the promoters of the project that aimed to regulate the production, research and access to cannabis for medicinal and scientific purposes, and which finally in September of last year ended up becoming an ordinance after passing through the local Deliberative Council.
"There are
families that require this product
to treat various pathologies and we are very hopeful of walking this path that, without a doubt, will generate more well-being in our community," concluded Zamora.

And Silvia Kochen, a researcher at CONICET, explained: "We are happy to have made this proposal, which was very well received. It consists of a
first pilot plant for development and research
applying good manufacturing practices to guarantee the quality of cultivation and production."
And he closed: "The idea is to continue betting on this project to
make Tigre a place for the production and sale of medicinal cannabis
for our country."
It should be noted that, in accordance with Law No. 27,350 called "Medical and scientific research on the medicinal use of the cannabis plant and its derivatives" (it was sanctioned by the National Congress in March 2017), the Deliberative Council of Tigre passed Ordinance No. 3735 in September 2020.
These regulations establish a regulatory framework at the local level for informed and safe access as a therapeutic resource, research, scientific use and public production of cannabis and its derivatives, guaranteeing and promoting comprehensive health care.
