The General Directorate of General Lebanese Security announced procedures to enter Lebanon through all land border posts with Syria.

In a statement issued this evening, the Directorate indicated to allow entry to Lebanon through the Al Masnaa and Aboudieh border centers on Mondays and Fridays of every week from nine in the morning until sixteen in the morning for the Lebanese and their family members and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and their families who wish to return from Syria to Lebanon at a rate of 300 people. The directorate indicated that it will also be permitted to enter Lebanon every Wednesday from nine o'clock until sixteen o'clock for Syrians holding valid residency permits in Lebanon and Syrians holding temporary residency for a period of 6 months Several trips “exit and return features” at a rate of 100 people through each border post Arabs and foreigners coming to Lebanon and their family members according to the instructions in effect, at a rate of 50 people through each border post, provided that all of them have a PCR test, which has a negative result issued by laboratories accredited by the Syrian Ministry of Health for a period of no more than 96 hours from the date of their arrival and a policy Health insurance covering the cost of treatment for Coronavirus for the duration of his stay in Lebanon, provided that a PCR examination will be repeated for them at the border post upon arrival by the Lebanese Ministry of Health teams.

The directorate pointed out that Syrians coming to review foreign and Arab embassies operating in Lebanon will also be allowed to enter Lebanon through all land border posts seven days a week, provided that they have valid passports and a written document issued by the embassy that is intended to be reviewed and examined by the PCR. A negative result does not exceed 96 hours, and he gave them 24 hours with a maximum leave certificate

The directorate indicated that it is also permitted to enter Lebanon through all land border centers, seven days a week, for Syrians coming for medical treatment, accompanied by at most two people, exclusively with the assets or branches of the concerned parties, to review a hospital or a doctor, provided that they have a written medical report that proves this and that the PCR examines its results. Negative duration of no more than 96 hours and giving them 48 hours with a statement of departure maximum. Those wishing to transit transit from Syria via Lebanon to travel through the airport, provided that they possess a travel ticket and attend a maximum of 12 hours before the flight’s date, and the BCR has tested negative results issued by accredited laboratories. The directorate indicated that people who had left Lebanon for Syria under the PCR examination, with a negative result, could be allowed to return with the same document within a period not exceeding 72 hours from the date of issuance of their result without undergoing any PCR examination in Syria again.
