After the tragic death of an 11-year-old who threw himself from his bedroom window on Monday evening, the investigation continues in an attempt to explain

Three days after the death of an 11-year-old boy in Vitry-sur-Seine, many questions remain unanswered.

Investigators from the Vitry-sur-Seine police station are seeking in particular to understand how a boy, without history, came to defenestate himself from his room on the fourth floor.

Around 6.30 p.m. Monday, the pre-teenager had opened the window of his room, before stepping over it.

The victim, who fell from the fourth floor of an apartment on allée Jean-Couzy, quickly taken care of, first by a nurse living in the building opposite then by the emergency services, was evacuated in critical condition .

She will die overnight.

The hypothesis of a case of harassment ruled out

Mentioned at the beginning of the case, the hypothesis of a case of harassment in college seems indeed ruled out.

This student at the Danielle-Casanova college, considered rather quiet and hardworking, according to the first elements of the investigation, had been summoned by the management of the establishment on the day of the tragedy to explain himself on a conflict which the opposed to a childhood friend.

The latter obviously did not understand why his boyfriend, whom he had seen since his early childhood, was moving away from him.

Affiliated in a sports club, the boy had found in class one of his friends of the club and had approached him.

The two childhood friends would then have exchanged insults.

Tensions marking the end of a friendship.

Excluded a day and a half

Following the summons, the pupil came out with a one-and-a-half-day suspension.

He had returned with his mother who had asked him to think about his behavior.

A few minutes later, the boy does something irreparable.

Hardworking, fairly athletic, in good relations with his mother, he led the quiet life of a sixth-grader who went to college with other children living in the neighborhood.
