Police claim that the father suspected of murdering his 14-year-old son in Kiryat Gat yesterday (Wednesday) did so on a mental background, and examined whether the 37-year-old had received psychiatric treatment in the past.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the mother called the police station, announced that the father had been stabbed, and that there was no precedent for the murder.
The investigation also shows that she and her house tried to fight the father and keep him away from the son.
The father, who escaped after the incident and was apprehended by police after a manhunt, is silent during his interrogation.

Annette Elijah, another neighbor, said she was shocked by the incident.
