The competitions of the international two-star horse jumping tournament began today at the Martyr Basil Al-Assad Equestrian Club in Dimas in Damascus countryside with the participation of knights from Jordan, Iran and Russia in addition to Syria.
The results of the upper category of 135 cm height, whose competitions were held in two consecutive games, resulted in the knight Sham al-Assad winning the first place, leaving the second place for the knight Qutayba al-Daghli, the knight Ahmad Hamsho in the third place, the knight Hammam al-Shihab in the fourth place, and the knight Amr Hamsho in the fifth place.
The knight, Sham Al-Assad, came first in the middle class for a height of 125 cm, which took place over two successive runs, followed by the knight Ahmed Hamsho, then the knight Ahmed Al-Malt, the knight Muhammad Mughith Shihab, and Al-Shehab came in fifth place with his participation on another horse.
The knight Aya Hamsho came first with a class of 115 cm, and the knight Jawad Nizam came second, the knight Ahmed al-Masri third, the Jordanian knight Layan al-Mumini fourth and the knight Mahmoud al-Masri fifth, knowing that the competitions in this category took place in a one-way system, speed against time.
