Anger about inconsiderate dog owners is not only growing in Irschenberg.
A resident from the Schliersee district of Neuhaus also contacted the editorial office via email.
She complains that dog legacies are an increasing problem.
The Neuhauserin asks to dedicate another report to the topic in order to sensitize the people.
"It is unimaginable how much dog shit lies on our garden fence, for example, and makes life difficult for us every day," she writes.
Last Saturday alone, "six monstrous piles of shit were left behind, so that we are really disgusted to go out of the garden".
Like you, the Neuhauserin, who is known to the editorial staff by name, complains that many people whose properties are located on popular walking paths - she refers for example to the Fischbachau district of Aurach or Schliersee.
"Why are the dog owners asked and encouraged to put the dog poop they left behind in the plastic bags?"

In Irschenberg, too, the dog poop problem is getting bigger and bigger
A number of signs were put up in Neuhaus to literally get the problem under control.
These are provided with the request that the dog owners should remove the piles of their four-legged friends.
But that hasn't helped so far.
“The signs are of course ignored,” complains the Neuhauserin.
She now hopes the public discussion will help dog owners take their duty to clear away seriously.
The resident emphasizes that she has nothing against dogs in themselves: "My daughter also has a dog, but it would never occur to her to leave the piles behind."
