More than 10 countries where to use the Astraznica corona virus vaccine today (Friday), after the European Medicines Agency and other regulators announced yesterday that its benefit outweighs any risk.

This is after many countries have recently stopped using the vaccine after reports of rare cases of blood clots appearing in vaccinated people.

At the same time, the death toll from the virus in Europe today exceeded one million.

Germany resumed use of the vaccine this morning, while French Prime Minister Jean Castex, who was vaccinated himself today, said he would work to get him back in his country soon.

Italy, the Netherlands and Spain issued similar messages on their behalf.

Denmark, which was among the countries that started the chain of events suspending the use of the vaccine, said it would need more time to decide what to do next.

Although the clots were found in only thirty vaccinators out of millions vaccinated with astraznica, scientists and governments have worked to investigate whether there is a link between the cases.

The agency clarified today that in the exams taken so far - there has been no connection between the isolated cases of blood clots and the vaccine, which was developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford.

However, it was noted that the issue is still under investigation along with the UK Medicines Agency (MHRA) regulatory body.

"This is a safe and effective vaccine," said Amar Cook, chairman of the agency, adding that "if it were me - I would get vaccinated tomorrow."

In the UK, only five cases of blood clots were detected out of 11 million vaccines given. Prime Minister Boris G. Vanson himself was vaccinated today in the first dose of the vaccine, calling on the public to get vaccinated as well: "I can not recommend it enough, all of you when you receive the summons to get vaccinated - please go and get it.

This is the best thing for you, for your families and for everyone else. "This, after the 56-year-old prime minister contracted the virus last year, and was even hospitalized in intensive care.

The World Health Organization also updated today in the Vaccine Safety Panel that there is no indication showing a link between the administration of the Asterazanica vaccine and an increase in blood clotting events, and that they too will continue to monitor the data.

"The Asterazanica vaccine for Covid-19 continues to have a positive efficacy-risk ratio with enormous potential to prevent infection and reduce death worldwide," the organization said.

The vaccine delay in more than 13 countries in the EU has slowed down the vaccination campaign which has already been particularly slow across the continent.

Germany returned to using the vaccine today after a three-day stay, while the country's health minister Jens Schanpann warned that there would not be enough vaccines across Europe to contain the third wave of virus infections.

"We can re-introduce Astraznica, but with caution and with properly instructed physicians and citizens," Pan said.
