Geneva - Sana
The World Health Organization has expressed its concern about the increase in the number of Coronavirus infections in the world for the fourth consecutive week.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as saying during a press conference today that we are facing a growing number of infected people for the fourth consecutive week, expressing his concern about this matter, especially after the effects of the mutated versions of the virus appeared, the openness of societies and the unequal distribution of vaccines.
Ghebreyesus indicated that the decline in death rates due to the virus is continuing at a slower pace than it was earlier.
