According to an Odoxa / Backbone Consulting survey for

Le Figaro

and France Info, 43% of citizens affected by the new measures disapprove of them, a higher proportion than those observed during other confinements.

This rejection - certainly counterbalanced across the country since 70% of French people say they are in favor of the restrictions - is reinforced by the detailed analysis of the device.

The system mostly considered ineffective and too restrictive

Some 38% of the inhabitants of the most affected territories, for example, oppose the ban on interregional travel, announced on the eve of the Easter holidays.

A majority of them also accept their annoyance at the return of the exit certificate (55%), and the closure of so-called “non-essential” businesses (59%).

Similarly, among those surveyed who live in Île-de-France, Hauts-de-France, Alpes-Maritimes, Eure and Seine-Maritime, 53% consider that this hardening will not be effective in terms of health, and 44% consider it too restrictive.
