Americans of Asian descent have seen an increase in attacks directed against them during the pandemic.
The United States has seen an increase in hate incidents against Asians across the country over the past year.
On the one hand, leaders like former President Donald Trump handle negative rhetoric against Asian groups using the pandemic as an excuse;
but on the other, some citizens act and take initiatives to confront racist aggressions and protect people.
