The case began as a result of the complaint made by the attorneys of first-line international brands, who reported the existence of a

showroom

where clothing and accessories exhibited by the brands

had been

commercialized and that

had not been manufactured or supervised by the brand owners

.

The procedure, in which the person in charge of commerce was delayed, was in charge of the Fraud and Fraud Division of the Economic Crimes Department of the City Police, in conjunction with the General Directorate of Operational Coordination of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Justice and Security.
