The selfie requests flatter him ("Trump insisted on being photographed") and the respite from politics does him good ("I'll be back") • Oren Hazan returns | You sat down

The election failure broke him ("I was on the verge of an abyss"), the requests for selfies flatter him ("Trump insisted on being photographed with me"), and the respite from politics does him good ("But I'll be back") • Oren Hazan predicts fifth election, and compares himself to Ben -Gurion

  • "I received a tempting offer in the current election campaign, but the soul bird said I was in the Likud."

When was the last time you were very scared?

"It takes courage to be afraid. I learned it from my rabbi, Josiah Pinto, who I love very much and I learned a lot from him. I look at myself and I am always afraid in retrospect. When I got on a bus of terrorist families on the way to jail I was not afraid at that moment, only after that I was afraid and asked Myself, 'What did you do?'. When I walked the alleys of the Old City alone with the Israeli flag proudly raised, I was not afraid, only after that. Now I underwent surgery under general anesthesia, but I had concerns only after them.

"The only thing that really scares me has to do with children.

If my little boy has a fever or the kids cough, I rattle.

I grew up as a child with a lot of health issues, and now I realize what my parents went through with me.

"I believe that if you are busy being afraid - you will not move forward, and I choose to move forward. Fear is something that paralyzes, and I am afraid of a lot of things, but in the end I did them all and I thank you for that."

When was the last time you fulfilled a dream?

"For a long time, I admit, and not because of me. The world has been on hold for a year, and like everyone else I have been frozen along with it. Throughout my life I have fulfilled dreams, everything I dreamed of happened. I watched 'Shtos' and wanted to be in Kenya - and I was. I dreamed of being at Disney World in Orlando And I got there, after watching the movie 'Casino' I dreamed of working in a casino, and I fulfilled that too. And of course I had a dream to start a family, and it is not quite complete yet but it happened. One of the biggest dreams I fulfilled was the Knesset, but the dream is not over, it is not over I wanted to fulfill the mission to serve the people of Israel and make people happy, and I have not yet fulfilled it properly.

"Many politicians were bothered that I was catching their spot.

It bothered them that they were lying to the public, and then someone came along saying 'the king is naked'.

I paid a price for it, and I pay with that price.

I know I'll be back at the right time.

"In the 2019 elections, in which I ran alone, I was on the brink of an abyss when I was not elected. How does a person who is so loved and embraced - and this is the same love I have received ever since - end up outside?

" Rabbi Josiah Pinto told me then that the Creator saved me, And today in hindsight I understand that.

The country is busy with Bibi or not Bibi, and I'm glad I'm not there, because if I had been in the Knesset for the last two years, I would have been walking and preaching like crazy all day, and in the end I'm the one paying the price.

At the right moment I will return, and I have no doubt that very many of the people of Israel want and are waiting for the moment when I will return.

"I believe that no dream is too far away, and that everything you want - you will fulfill, and for me 'everything happens and thank the Creator'. I intend to retire at 70, unlike others, no matter where I will be and what I will do. My dream is to sit with wife, children and friends and win "By the way, in a peaceful and happy life. By the way, I also have small dreams: I'm really waiting for a new comic book series from the X-Men series to come out."

When was the last time you participated in reality?

"I participated in 'Big Brother' last year. The initials of Oren Hazan are AH, and I came to visit the house for about a week.

I did not enter as a regular tenant, but was offered to continue and refused.

I'm watching this season, Shapo, she's lusting after me - and I'm starting to regret not taking part in it.

I also dragged my parents to reality, they will participate in a 'winning couple' that will come up soon, so I also degenerate parents into reality culture.

"I myself am participating in a new docu-reality that will come up after the holidays. It's going to be interesting. At the same time we are working on another program, and constantly thinking about how new things can be produced. When I entered 'Big Brother' I took part in a revolutionary music video. Things, and today everyone does it, so I'm happy to be a pioneer for others. As a public messenger you want to reach as many audiences as possible, and today's generation is the reality generation and social networks, so if you are not in reality - you will not meet them. It's a platform to meet the audience "So I allowed myself to take part in reality and I will do so in the future. The best reality I participated in was the Knesset, and I am dying to return for another season."

When was the last time you went to the doctor?

"Today. People are wondering where I disappeared to, so this is also the corona, also a time-out I took to be with the family, and also because for the past two months I am unfortunately at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, after two surgeries, with an abscess (wound) in my gut that refuses to leave me.

I am in the ward where Sarah Netanyahu was operated on and I was operated on by the same surgeon who operated on her in the appendix surgery.

He's the best, and now I know for sure.

I'm here, feeling better, joking with my doctors and joking with my sisters. "

When was the last time you took a selfie?

" Now.

A few minutes ago I took a selfie with maids who came to share good things at the hospital and asked me for a selfie, and I got to take a picture with them. Before that I was sitting in a cafe, some young people passed by and asked 'Can I have a picture?'

So I dug them a quarter of an hour about the Land of Israel and the Torah of Israel, and we took pictures. I have the right to do lots and lots of selfies, and I have the right that a lot of people attribute selfies to me, because Oren Hazan revived the selfie, and I thank you for each and every one of the photos. Every once in a while, it's not forced, and all with the same smile smeared on my face, and I have a big smile and protruding teeth, but I do not care. I will be photographed in the grocery store, at the bank or in line for the health insurance fund.

When it comes to me I am very shy, but when it comes to others - I have no problem taking pictures, and keep asking because it makes me happy and gives me strength every time again.

"I had a dream of breaking the Guinness record for taking selfies a day or a week. I think I already broke it, but I was not measured. In the end, you have to walk around with me and see how much love I get. They tell me 'if you got a shekel for each picture, where would you be now?' But like Ben-Gurion, I do not need a penny for being happy with my people.

"I will modestly say that I am responsible for the most famous selfie in the country, with Donald Trump in 2017, and also for the second most famous selfie, the selfie in the plenum with Netanyahu and Likud MKs Immediately after the Nationality Law in 2018. They were both picture of the year and they were both spontaneous, or almost spontaneous. My brother challenged me about Trump, he said 'you admire him, they say you are the Israeli Trump, and if you come back without a picture you are a farce', so I asked He was nicely photographed, so it was all his fault. The second selfie was completely spontaneous, I did not even plan to go to the plenum, so I was in a short shirt. I came especially for a vote, my shirt went up and stretched, and in a photo spread all over the world press you can see my belly ".

When was the last time you said "I love you"?

"I say all the time, to my wife Rinat, to the children, and to the doctor and nurses who treated me and to all the people of Israel, from morning to night. In the last minutes I told my wife that I love her, and an hour ago I posted a post in which I wrote to my parents that I love them. I love you 'It's not out of the mouth, just a complete intention. Do not hear me just say to someone I love him. A lot of people use it on the way to go out of duty, I do not. The word friendship also has a place of honor in me. I said today too "To a good friend of mine that I love, and also to the people I work with. I think if you have an emotion - you should express it. I have no problem expressing emotions."

When was the last time something was said about you that was wrong?

"All the time. I'm not a provocateur and far from being superficial, provocative or infantile. I have deep sorrow that people do not look at who I really am. People have chosen to be attentive to superficial gossip and spoiled yellow, and have always been rumored about what it was about. I always said 'do not judge. Me about once, but about who I am now. 'If we look at my public activities, people have missed 25 laws I passed, some of which I led alone and some with partners, and I signed them. From reducing water corporations, through credit points to reservists to kindergartens, and more In addition to the laws I passed, there were major changes in budgets and reforms, for example when I led the establishment of an intensive care unit for children at Poria Hospital in Tiberias.

"It is impossible to say 'stupid' about a person who gave 1,500 speeches in the Knesset orally, I have never read from a page. They say 'he is rebellious', but a person who has no knowledge, experience and ability, can not do it, and it is difficult for me to convince people ".

When was the last time you were very angry?

"I'm always angry, but there are things that manage to take me completely out of my composure. I'm very angry at the recent decisions related to the trial, and the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague. I have atomic rage, not necessarily on the court, there is a collection of assholes looking for opportunity To dismantle this amazing thing called the State of Israel.

"I am also angry at the leaders here, who allow radical left-wing associations that do everything and celebrate on the backs of the fighters and try to dismantle us from within with the help of antisemitic money.

The State of Israel, for all its leaders, right and left, must be fired in order to condemn and outlaw the people of these associations, such as B'Tselem and Breaking the Silence, who travel the world and tell lies and fabrications about Israel.

If we had stopped them we would not have been in this place, which makes me angry.

"I have read countless tweets and posts that have attacked how racist and anti-Semitic it is, but in your power to change and define those who discredit Israel as a traitor, only with us are we more enlightened than enlightened."

When was the last time you encountered racism?

"From morning to night. For every tweet I put out, those buttocks get up, some of which are completely converted and also resentful. I come across this all the time, and ask, what am I doing with racism? Any statement, post or tweet by Yvette Lieberman and his Yisrael Beiteinu party, with the statements The outrage and defiance in the face of the ultra-Orthodox sector and in the face of religion and Torah are shocking and wrong in my eyes. Regardless of the election, racism exists all the time.

"My father told me 'change the name to Hazanovich', you will have an easier life, 'but I chose to stay with my name, Out of a decision I came to defeat discrimination and racism - and not to perpetuate.

There are those who do it in the Knesset to continue to garner votes, no matter names, parts of the Shas, and it's sad.

"There is discrimination and there is racism, but instead of perpetuating them, let's beat them.

Despite all the hardships and discrimination and deprivation, let's deal with free love.

People will rise up against me to say, 'Does Oren Hazan say this?'

- Yes, just like I do not hate Arabs but hate terrorists, or do not hate people from the Black Continent, but hate migrant workers who came to take us jobs.

Regarding the post about the circumcision of the son of Tzachi Halevi and Lucy Aharish (Hazan wrote, among other things: "The baby is not Jewish and this is not a circumcision and certainly not the covenant of our father Abraham" - Shaz), 850,000 read it on Facebook and another 100,000 on Instagram .

This is not racism, and it needs to be sharpened.

I respect and contain, and think that there is a place for everyone in the State of Israel, but there is a difference between the State of Israel and the people of Israel.

The people of Israel have gone through hardships over the years and I speak out against assimilation, not about disqualifying people as human beings.

In the Torah of Israel it is written in black and white 'You shall not marry them nor give your daughter', this is the same Torah that throughout history millions of Jews died for the sanctification of Gd because they were not willing to give up their Judaism, so now we erase all that?

I speak on behalf of those we have lost along the way.

I did not say they were inferior, or do not give them rights. "

When was the last time you encountered violence?

"Unfortunately every day. There is violence in the networks and on the street, and it burns my heart. I can not understand this thing. It starts with a person waiting in the emergency room and started shouting and raging, and continues with people spitting on the road. Violence is everywhere and I do not know why. Bad from his youth, and I think what happens is that everything becomes too simple, fluid and easy, so people allow themselves everything. If once children drank only mustard in Kiddush, today children aged 12-8 drink an energy drink and at age 13 are drunk in the park.If you do not curse you Not cool, if you are not exposed you are not conspicuous, and if you are not humiliating you are not a man. We lack education and values, and we must invest in it, and the networks must be censored. Once upon a time there was respect for the teacher, today there is no respect even for the parent.

"I'm also cursed all day, that's a fact.

In my opinion, if in the end I gave that one, a keyboard hero in double quotes, to feel good about himself - he would curse me.

If I let him live another day, I'm ready to be his punching bag.

I will not hit them back.

Many speak of 'offended who do not offend, hear their slander and do not respond'.

You snatch - take a deep breath and respond wisely and calmly.

Be compassionate towards the environment. "

When was the last time you were offered a tempting offer?

"This month I got an offer from someone and I was surprised. When I look in the mirror I feel like an old hater, but vaguely someone came and started with me. Of course I told her 'this ring is not a handcuff, I am a married man,' and she said 'I did not notice'.

" Gets cool offers every day.

There was a tempting offer this month to post a food thing, and I refused to post because the product is not kosher.

I asked a lot of questions, but even before the answer I had already decided.

Tempting offers come with nice financial offers, and I refuse.

Partly for ideological motives and partly because of my political aspirations, but if the right offer comes to the right brand, maybe that will happen.

"I also received a political proposal in the current election campaign, in fact two proposals, one unrealistic and tempting, and one realistic and tempting, but my soul bird told me I was in the Likud and there was no point in passing. In my political senses I estimated that in the end it would not be realistic, and as we get closer I discover I was right and I am today in the Likud, at home, waiting for the primaries to come and hoping that I will receive a tempting offer and there will be a fifth election.

"Not that I will prophesy, but that 'what was is what will be, there is nothing new under the sun.'

And I'm not saying that, it's written in the congregation. "

When was the last time you missed?

"My biggest plus and minus is the sensitivity, I'm a little feminine in this segment. I miss every minute my kids, I miss madly, I can not do without them. I miss sometimes, girls, when everything was simple, no computers and no world in the palm of your hand, just play in the neighborhood With friends. I have a collection of letters and stationery from time to time, also with smell, and I had a wave of longing this month. Sometimes I sit with cartons of letters I received as a child who spent a lot of time in hospital, I read and miss my friends from time to time. I had the privilege of meeting many people, "And I miss almost every one of them. It's healthy to cry too, cry, it's liberating, and when I read the letters I cried."

When was the last time you checked the current account?

”This year I am with my finger on the pulse.

I have done business in my life, some have succeeded and some have failed, and I have learned to be vigilant.

The corona period needs to be calculated, and most people, because of frustration and hardship, waste what they have.

This year has taught us that satisfactions need to be postponed.

As a kid I was always told 'keep a white shekel for a black day', and I did not understand it, but after the things I experienced and after this year you learn that you must.

"I don't have a lot of current affairs, like everyone else, but we get through this period as much as possible. It doesn't matter how many you have, you always have to know that it can end."

When was the last time you regretted something?

"I do not really regret anything in my life, and the reason is that if I had done something, even the smallest, otherwise - I would not be here today and I would not fulfill my dreams. I think and believe that one should not regret, but learn. A person who is immersed in regret remains stuck In his sadness. I can say that I am learning from mistakes. I am not without mistakes, I have many mistakes and I am not perfect. For example, when I was not elected, it was a mistake or a mistake. The Likud did everything to prevent me from running in the primaries, I chose to run alone, and that was a mistake. "To deal as I did, with two friends and NIS 20,000. This is a mistake I learned from, and if I ever decide to start my own party and run alone again, I will come with the right tools, with a team, an organization and an entire group, because elections are a group matter."

When was the last time you got good advice?

"Today, a senior figure in the Israeli television world. We had a conversation about life and I talked about my opinions, and he said 'sometimes you do not have to say everything you have to say.' This is advice that was told to me a lot in life, especially by my father, but I did not listen I received another great tip today, 'You should not shop here, you get reports here,' and that is advice since I listened to it.

"Today I also gave advice to the nurse at the hospital.

She was sad and I told God in life must not be broken.

Smile, put in one ear and take out from the other ear, you will have thick skin.

This is advice I give to everyone.

Stop taking into account what is said about you or you.

Be, flourish, make dreams come true.

"Most people wake up and sober up when it's too late, in retirement they remember to celebrate. No! Live today! My dad says everyone lives only once, and in fact we live every day and die only once. Start living."

When for the first time?

When did you first work?

"My first job was gardening, as a teenager. I worked in Ariel for Harel Nisnov the gardener in the summer when I was 12 or 13. It was manual labor, we planted and weeded, and when we sat in his red van in the hot summer, without air conditioning, I said for the first time 'I will come and be head. The government of Israel. 'Then I worked for my father, in building, painting and renovation, and later I worked in dismantling containers, suffering and cleaning at heights, hard work. All my life I worked, I did not grow up with a gold spoon in my mouth. My parents did not miss anything from us, but next to them they Make sure we know how to appreciate and work, and that not everything comes easily. Whoever does not appreciate, with the same ease everything will disappear, because what comes easily goes easily, do not wait to lose something to appreciate it. As in Israel, we got a beautiful country and amazing country, roads, restaurants, Beaches and culture, and we not only need to maintain it, but also be worthy of it. "

Oren Hazan // 39 years old, former MK. Resident of Ma'ale Adumim, married to Rinat (30), a civil servant, and father of two, Uri (3 and a half) and Elon Yitzhak (two years). Son of former MK Yechiel Hazan and Aviva.
