Hundreds of protesters against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government corruption are expected to arrive this evening (Saturday) at his official residence in Jerusalem and at his home in Caesarea, as well as at many intersections and bridges throughout the country.

The protest will take place for the 39th week in a row.

In the run-up to the protest in Jerusalem, the police blocked streets in the Knesset area and in the centers of demonstrations, including Ben Maimon, Gaza, Paris Square, Agron, King George and Keren Hayesod, and other roads are expected to be blocked later.

Police were deployed in Paris Square, Gaza Street, Ben Maimon and nearby streets.

At the Tzamerot junction in Herzliya, a demonstrator claimed to have been attacked by Netanyahu supporters.

"We were standing at an intersection, in front of us were the three usual bibisites, only this time a woman with two children joined them," said Dr. Yael Shomer, the black flag activist. "She crossed the road towards us and verbally confronted a demonstrator next to me with my back to both of them.

The incident comes after less than a month ago, an 18-year-old city resident was arrested on suspicion of spraying protesters at a pepper spray intersection.

In Jerusalem, protesters stormed a police briefing ahead of a protest in a parking lot near Paris Square.

"Minister Ohana incited the murder yesterday. Get with a committee and the whole state of Israel saw it," shouted one of the protesters, referring to a video released by the Minister of Internal Security in which he fired at a target at a target that read "Central Bloc," which he later deleted.

"If one of our demonstrators is arrested today, the blood will be on your hands and that of Minister Ohana. You are a political police force," she added.

The black flag protest stated that "on Election Day we will mark a year of popular protest that began with a spontaneous convoy of cars from around the country. We must enter the Knesset in protest against her being taken hostage by the House Speaker and the criminally charged emissary.

Today we call on Israeli society - let's make this Shabbat the last Shabbat of the protest!

We deserve another country.

Go out and vote, there is hope.

It's in our hands. "

What are the demonstrations about?

The demonstrators are protesting against Netanyahu's continued tenure at the same time as being charged with a crime, claiming, among other things, that he cannot separate his personal and legal good from his political decisions.

The prime minister is charged with three counts.

In the

1000 case

(the benefit benefits case), Netanyahu is accused of receiving benefits worth about NIS 700,000 from businessmen Arnon Milchen and James Packer, while he served as prime minister.

The main gifts were cigars, champagne packages and jewelry.

In addition, it was alleged that Netanyahu acted in Milchen's favor in three matters, in which the businessman sought his intervention: he approached US Secretary of State John Kerry to extend the businessman's visa, he approached Finance Minister Yair Lapid to extend the exemption. A tax for returning residents, and he worked to promote a merger of "Keshet" and "Reshet" - ostensibly at Milchen's request.

According to the lawsuit, these acts damaged the image of the public service and the public's trust in it.

The 2000 case

(the Netanyahu-Mozes affair) deals with talks between Netanyahu and Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes. In those talks, the two allegedly discussed the benefit of the prime minister's coverage of the Yedioth group, in exchange for imposing restrictions on the newspaper's main competitor - Israel Today. The person who offered the deal is Mozes, so he is accused of bribery. On the other hand, the ombudsman was also convinced that Netanyahu did not intend to complete the bribe deal, but continued the talks with Mozes to improve his coverage in the Yedioth group, and there are certain actions to do so.

Case 4000

(Bezeq-Walla affair) The most serious case for the prime minister concerns regulatory benefits worth hundreds of millions of shekels, which Netanyahu allegedly granted to Elowitz.

In return, according to the indictment, Elovich acted to skew the coverage on the Walla!

NEWS, which was under his control.
