A 34-year-old Israeli man was killed today (Saturday) in a ski accident in Georgia.
The accident occurred at the Godauri ski resort, which is near the border with Russia and about a two-hour drive from the capital Tbilisi.
The Foreign Ministry is aware of the details of the tragic case and is working to fly the Israeli body to Israel.
The Foreign Ministry said: "The Department for Israelis Abroad in the Consular Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Consulate in Tbilisi, Smadar Tzemach-Ratzbi, accompany the family in its difficult time and assist in arranging the flight of the deceased for burial in Israel."
