Today, Iraqi forces seized explosive devices and rockets during searches in the Kirkuk and Nineveh governorates in the north of the country.
Alsumaria News quoted the Ministry of the Interior as saying in a statement, “A force from the Fifth Division, in cooperation with the Division’s Intelligence Department, carried out an inspection operation in the Hamira al-Kubra district of al-Rashad district in Kirkuk and seized 30 explosive devices,” indicating that these materials were handled by the detonators of explosives.
In turn, the Military Intelligence Directorate announced the seizure of rockets and artillery shells in the Tal Abta district, west of Nineveh Governorate.
The joint Iraqi forces continue their security operations in various Iraqi regions to pursue the remnants of the "ISIS" terrorists and to clear their territories of terrorism.
