Community clears up rumor now - residents suffer from "photo tourism"
First report from March 17th: Nuremberg - Rumors have been circulating for months that Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder wants to move to a small community in the Nuremberg region.
The persistent rumor also has consequences for the residents of the community of Rückersdorf.
In order to protect this and to create clarity, the site has now issued a press release.
"Even if a rumor persists and is passed on again and again by many, it does not become the truth," said Mayor Johannes Ballas in the press release.
Ballas emphasizes that it is wrong that Markus Söder will live in Rückersdorf in the future.
The Bavarian Prime Minister has not already introduced himself to the allegedly new neighborhood, nor is he registered in Rückersdorf.
Nuremberg: Will Markus Söder change his place of residence?
Persistent rumors
Since the gossip story, some homeowners have a real “photo tourism” in front of their door.
It currently affects three different locations in Rückersdorf, it continues.
The photographers don't let the house owners rest, especially on weekends.
When trying to photograph Markus Söder's allegedly new residence, there is no stopping at gates, fences and gardens.
At the request of the homeowners, the mayor would therefore like to point out once again that the Bavarian Prime Minister neither lives in Rückersdorf nor is considering this step.
