The struggle of women in the occupied Syrian Golan is historical and ancient. Syria, since its inception, was not immune to the ambitions of the colonial powers in all ancient, modern and contemporary periods, according to Dr. Hasna Nasr al-Hussein, a researcher in political history and international relations, in an interview with a SANA delegate on the occasion of Mother’s Day, indicating that the failure of the opposing forces was the common denominator. Al-Hussein refers to the ability of the Julian woman to transform her struggle and steadfastness and her adherence to her survival on her land despite all the terrorist practices carried out by the Zionist forces in violation of international legitimacy and international humanitarian law into a model of resistance, steadfastness and confrontation.
