Ma'an News Agency quoted the Palestine Liberation Organization's National Bureau for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance as saying in its weekly report issued today ... that thousands of Jerusalemites face the risk of displacement due to the settlement occupation plans targeting the occupied city of Jerusalem, especially in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, where the occupation authorities handed over 2,200 Palestinians living there. Notices to evacuate their homes to be handed over to settlers and in the Bustan neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, where notifications were delivered to demolish 100 homes inhabited by about 1,500 Palestinians, with the aim of emptying Jerusalem from the Palestinian presence and judaizing it.

The report indicated that the occupation authorities announced a plan to change the features of the historic markets in the Old City of Jerusalem, namely Al Lahhamin, Al Qattanin and Al Khawajat, as part of implementing their plans to change the city’s character and its Arab Palestinian identity, pointing out that the occupation is also escalating the demolition of Palestinian homes and facilities in Shuafat camp and the towns of Issawiya and Kafr In occupied Jerusalem to seize their lands and expand settlements

The report pointed out that the occupation continues to displace Palestinians from the northern Jordan Valley in the West Bank, as it announced a plan to demolish the homes of Khirbet al-Mita, which is rich in water and antiquities, threatening the displacement of 700 Palestinians, indicating that this scheme is paving the way for the seizure of 45,000 dunums of the Jordan Valley lands.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities seized 50 dunums of Palestinian lands in the villages of Husan and Nahalin in Bethlehem, and 25 dunums in the Baqa'a area east of Hebron, and areas of the lands of the towns of Dhahiriya and Masafer Yatta in the south of Hebron and Burqin west of Salfit. They also bulldozed 100 dunums in the village of Jinsafut, east of Qalqilya, and 5 Dunums in the village of Ras Karkar in Ramallah and areas of lands from the towns of Yatma and Qablan, south of Nablus, and Beit Jala in Bethlehem, to expand a number of settlements.

The report stated that the occupation forces demolished a house, three agricultural facilities in Silwan, four houses in Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem, five agricultural facilities in the Beit Ta'amer area of ​​Bethlehem, and several homes and facilities in the villages of Kharabsheh in Jericho and Beit Furik in Nablus.

The report indicated that settlers continue their attacks on cities and towns in the West Bank with the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the village of Beit Iksa northwest of occupied Jerusalem, attacked Palestinian homes and properties, and stormed the archaeological Burj al-Bardawil area west of Silwad town in Ramallah, as well as bulldozed tracts of Palestinian land in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque. In Hebron, they seized swathes of Palestinian lands in the village of Wadi Al-Nis in Bethlehem to establish a settlement outpost and uprooted dozens of olive and fruit trees from Palestinian lands in the towns of Qaryut, Burin, and Jalud in Nablus, and attacked Palestinian farmers in the town of Masafer Yatta in Hebron, which resulted in the injury of a Palestinian, his wife and a number of his children.
