An Iraqi intelligence officer was killed in an armed terrorist attack today, west of the capital, Baghdad.
A security source told Alsumaria News, "An armed group opened fire with their weapons at a car in which an officer with the rank of colonel from the Counter-Terrorism Directorate of the Intelligence Service within Al-Mansour area was killed," he said.
The source did not give further details.
