A woman was shocked to discover that the walls of her new home were not orange because of the color in which they were painted - but because of smoking cigarettes inside the home for 21 years.

Duranda Rose turned to Tiktok to share how the intense smoking of the previous tenants had completely ruined her apartment, when with the help of her friends she started scrubbing the orange walls and found out that they were actually white.

In a video that has garnered more than 17.5 million likes, a man can be seen wiping with a wet sponge on an orange wall and immediately afterwards the orange color begins to trickle down the wall and reveal the light white walls that were once there.

Smoking for more than 21 years indoors has turned all the walls orange, including the cabinets and appliances that were also covered in a thick layer of orange tar thanks to the unhealthy habit of previous occupants.

Although Rose was appalled by the condition of the walls in the house, she saw that the staining material continued to drip from the walls and continued to scrub and clean until her entire house returned to its original appearance.

In another video, Rose showed the camera the dozens of holes made in the carpet, most likely due to cigarettes falling to the floor.
