Despite some imponderables in the Corona situation: The cultural organizers in Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen are cautiously starting to plan for spring and summer.

Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

- If the incidence values remain stable and the vaccination rate increases, cultural events could soon be held again.

Although the situation is still fragile and difficult at the moment, the cultural organizers in the region are still trying to go into planning.

The classic series “Quartettissimo” is the first to be launched, namely in April.

The organizers Christoph and Susanne Kessler will be offering four top-class concerts in the Tölzer Kurhaus from April 6th to 8th and April 18th, which they put under the motto "Tölzer Klassik Gipfel - A firework of music".

Should it not be feasible, the replacement dates for October have already been set.

A maximum of 150 visitors are allowed in the Tölzer Kurhaus

“So we're not naive, but we have a safety net,” says Christoph Kessler.

A maximum of 150 visitors will find space in the Kurhaus, which is significantly fewer than usual.

"We will pay more economically," says Kessler.

The small festival is only possible through withdrawals from the reserve and the support of the city of Tölz, which is known to be a cooperation partner of “Quartettissimo”.

After all, the Bavarian Radio is coming again to record and broadcast the four concerts.

"That is the best advertising," says Kessler happily.

If the incidence value remains below 50, the concerts will be held as planned.

If the value is between 50 and 100, a visit with a prior test is possible.

"If the value is over 100, we will postpone everything to October," says Ickinger.

KKK Lenggries: If you cancel, card buyers are guaranteed to get their money back

Sabine Pfister, who looks after the “KleinKunst und Kultur” (KKK) in Lenggries and the hall in the “Kramerwirt” in Arzbach, will offer the first concerts in May.

“But the prerequisite is that people also buy tickets,” she says.

It guarantees that the visitors get their money back, should the event have to be postponed again and there is no time for an alternative date.

Pfister can use both the conference room of the Arabella-Brauneck-Hotel and the beer garden for KKK events.

Here and in the “Kramerwirt” only 70 tickets are sold for the time being.

"We then keep lists of substitutes, in case more people are allowed to come."

Pfister's calendar of events, however, is not yet tightly timed - restraint is still the order of the day.

However, if the situation improves, Pfister is thinking of several outdoor events in the summer.

"But details are not yet revealed," she says with a smile.

Wolfgang Ramadan is planning open air shows in the rose garden in Bad Tölz

Wolfgang Ramadan, who is present with his subscription program both in the Tölzer Kurhaus and in the clubhouse in Dorfen, is also in the starting blocks, albeit still cautious.

"We are currently planning four open airs: two in the Tölzer Rosengarten, one in Bad Aibling and one in Starnberg."

His agency "BrotZeit & Spiele" is almost through with the planning for 2022 and 2023.

"It continues in all places," says the organizer.

“We have also worked out new subscription concepts.” Ramadan assumes that corona rapid tests “will be with us all for a while” before each event.

All organizers are preparing for the fact that 2021 will still be a very difficult year.

"I'm not expecting four-digit visitor numbers this year," says Christian Gutmair, who organizes concerts in the Kurhaus and the flea market in Tölz.

The latter is likely to have 30 exhibitions and a maximum of 200 visitors, "but that doesn't pay off at all".

Hope for Georg Ringsgwandl to appear in Bad Tölz

In the spring, he will probably not hold any events in the Kurhaus.

Concerts with 100 to 200 spectators would not be economically viable for him.

“We will postpone Martin Frank's appearance on April 14th,” says Gutmair.

However, he has a “glimmer of hope” for Georg Ringsgwandl's guest performance in Tölz in September.

The first planning has also started in the Tölzer Tourist Info.

“We have of course drawn up an annual plan together with the music school.

Actually, the season would have already started, but unfortunately we had to cancel the first dates here as well, ”says Susanne Frey-Allgaier, deputy spa director and responsible for cultural planning.

In the series “City with a special note” there will be “pop-up concerts” scheduled at short notice this year. This idea was born in 2020.

“Two high points of the season will undoubtedly be the two weekends from 13 to 16 May and 11/12.

September, where we will bundle concerts of the boys' choir in addition to the concerts of the music school and once in the city and once on the Blomberg will mainly offer open-air concerts. "
