Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Ciarto announced that his country was under great pressure from Western countries due to its decision to buy Russian and Chinese vaccines against the Corona virus.
"We were subjected to a widespread political attack when it was learned that we were considering buying the Russian (Sputnik V) and Chinese (Sinopharm) vaccines," Carto told Russia Today website.
He pointed out that the decision to purchase the Russian and Chinese vaccines was based on the recommendations of Hungarian experts who visited their manufacturing sites and viewed documents related to these two vaccines.
Hungary is the first country in the European Union to receive a batch of the Russian (Sputnik V) vaccine, although the Union has not issued a license to use it.
